DWA believes that a key element in improving the quality and capability of marine infrastructure is the provision of education and training to managers, investors, Government and other stakeholders. DWA seeks to promote conferences, seminars and workshops that advance this goal.

In recent months it has contributed to:

	Port Planning & Design Asia 2011 in Ho Chi Minh City: presenting a paper on Identifying Development Opportunities (more information) and leading a post conference workshop on the financing of Ports & Terminals
	The 3rd Conference on Optimizing Port Development in Dubai: presenting a paper on Traffic Forecasting in Complex Times (more information)
