Terry Smyth

Terence Smyth is a maritime economist and management consultant with over 30 years of experience in the evaluation of port, other transport and resource projects.  He has managed and conducted feasibility studies of ocean transportation, shipping terminals, railways, base metal, coal and industrial mineral mines, pulp and paper mills, manufacturing plants, and computer system installations.


Terry's experience includes port traffic forecasts, market surveys for industrial commodities, development of models for economic and financial analyses, and reviews of industrial technology.  He has been responsible for projects in North America, East Asia, South-East Asia, the Middle East, the Caribbean, the Pacific islands, Latin America and Africa.  Terry has also managed and undertaken many projects funded by the international development banks.
