DWA worked as part of a team employed by Singapore Competition Commission and including Hackett Associates and led by GHK to study the potential to renew the block exemption from competition law enjoyed by container shipping companies in Singapore. The work DWA undertook included the preparation of position papers on the approaches taken in other jurisdictions to continuing, amending or removing the exemption. DWA were also involved in interviewing shippers and shipping lines as part of an extensive stakeholder consultation exercise.
