Seeking to identify opportunities for enhanced growth a major container shipping line appointed DWA and GHK to undertake a review of the potential opportunities for terminal development and management across Asia. The work involved an examination of the market opportunity, the level of competition and the regulatory structures and constraints on the line becoming involved in different countries. The strategy of potential competitors was also questioned. From the work done clear country foci become obvious for the line and these will inform their strategic planning and decision making over the next few years.
