DWA was appointed to assist Al Khamael a successful local company to develop proposals for an on deck container storage depot. The terminal will operate using reach stackers, terminal trailers and prime movers and have high capacity paving, its own, effective, security systems and an IT support system able to interface with those of container shipping lines. A detailed review of the potential market for the depot was undertaken and proposals for partnerships and contracts with key users prepared. The depot is now under construction.
