A review of berthing procedure and terminal utilization was undertaken by DWA at ISAB in Lampung. The study covered safety and productivity issues. Cargoes handled include dry and liquid bulk. Specific recommendations to improve safety were provided on an urgent basis. Long term process and procedure improvement to enable improve utilization of the terminal were also made. As part of the study suggestions on reconfiguring the terminal to permit the introduction of new forms of cargo were developed.
